INSIDE AND OUTSIDE SHOW CAR

RULES AND REGULATIONS

 

  • Allinside pre-registeredshow cars must check in at the LeConte Center back loading dock door on Wednesday, June 4 between 2pm-6pm. Cars arriving after hours or on Thursday or Friday will have to park outside on the show field, no exceptions.
  • Alloutside pre-registeredshow cars can check in at the side entrance to the car show field behind the LeConte Center. Check in will remain open from 10am-6pm on Wednesday, June 4.  Check in for all non pre-registered show cars, and for all show cars arriving on Thursday or Friday, will be inside the LeConte Center only.
  • No one will be permitted on the show field after 6 PM.
  • Upon arrival at the LeConte Center, a (PIPF) representative will spot your car in the show area.
  • Specifically for Show Cars Parked Inside the LeConte Center:
  • All cars entering the building must be of show quality, cleaned and show ready.
  • You Must arrive with 1/4 tank of fuel or less.The Pigeon Forge Fire Marshal will be present at move-in to verify fuel levels.
  • When positioned in the building your battery must be disconnected. If you don’t have a battery disconnect on your car, bring a battery wrench with you.
  • Fuel tanks and fill openingsMustbe closed and sealed to prevent tampering.
  • Keys must be removed from ignitions while cars are in the LeConte Center.
  • Vehicles shall not be started or moved during Event Hours.
  • Cars may not be fueled or defueled while in the Center. (No fuel allowed in Center)
  • Every wheel/tire on every vehicle must have an approved barrier between the tire and the floor surface while parked. (PIPF will furnish tire mats)
  • ANYtape or adhesive must be approved by PIPF or The LeConte Center Staff before placing on floor.
  • No silicone or similar product will be allowed to be used inside the Center.
  • Limited number of show cars (including the special display cars) will be placed in the building. The remaining show cars will be in the outside lot adjacent to the Center.
  • Exiting the building at the conclusion of the Event will be in an orderly manner under the supervision of the PIPF Staff.Show cars will begin exiting after the 5PM awards ceremony is completed on Saturday, followed by vendors.  All Vehicles must be removed from the LeConte Center by 8 PM Saturday.
  • PIPF reserves the right to refuse entry to any car or vendor at its discretion.
  • Not allowed in the Center: Smoking, Animals, outside food or drink, coolers, double rider scooters.

 

We are pleased and excited to be holding our Event in the City owned LeConte Center located on Teaster Lane, only one block off the Parkway at traffic light #5. We expect all participants to abide by the LeConte Center Rules and Regulations, and help us keep this facility in its present condition. Additional spectator parking has been added across the street as well as a new pedestrian overhead crosswalk to the LeConte Center.

                                       

 

INSIDE AND OUTSIDE VENDORS

  • All inside vendors must check in and drop off trucks and trailers at the LeConte Center back loading dock door onWednesday, June 4 between 10am-2pm. Vendors arriving after these hours or on Thursday or Friday will go in the outside swap area if space is available.
  • Check in for all outside vendors will be at the side entrance to the show field.
  • No one will be permitted on the show field after 6 PM.
  • Specifically for Vendors Inside the LeConte Center:
  • Upon arrival at the LeConte Center, a PIPF representative will spot each vendorto their assigned space(s). Trailers must have boards, carpet or similar under any trailer jacks.
  • Vendors will be allowed to leave a vehicle in the building only with prior permission from PIPF, and must meet all the inside vehicle rules as follows:
  • You Must arrive with 1/4 tank of fuel or less to leave a vehicle in the building.The Pigeon Forge Fire Marshal will be present at move-in to verify fuel levels.

  • NO USED GREASY PARTS will be allowed inside the LeConte Center AND ABSOLUTELY NOPARTS ARE ALLOWED TO BE PLACED DIRECTLY ON THE FLOOR. Vendors are welcome in the outside swap meet area with used parts.
  • Vendors selling large parts inside the Center must deliver their sold items to the loading dock roll up door area. PIPF will man this door for the sole purpose of parts pick-up. Small items, bagged and boxed not to exceed 24″ X 24″ may be hand carried through the Center front doors and lobby area.
  • Exiting the building at the conclusion of the Eventwill be in an orderly manner under the supervision of the PIPF staff.Show cars will begin exiting after the 5PM awards ceremony is completed on Saturday, followed by vendors.  All vendors must be out of the LeConte Center by 8PM Saturday
